ABOUT ME
Of Canarian ancestors (maternal great-grandparents born in Gáldar and Guia), I was born in Matanzas, Cuba, in 1961.
From a very young age I became fond of reading and writing and my first forays into the world of letters involved writing short sentences that helped me understand my surroundings, poems and micro-stories, however, it was not until the nineties when I wrote my first novel; Beyond the border -published with Editorial Leibros in 2017. From there, they continued: Hidden Enemy, Solo, Fatal Dose and Addicted -the latter, erotic narrative.
Writing helps me to put my thoughts back together and understand my day-to-day life. It is a need that I do not want to control.
Through the writing I intend to offer new perspectives and points of view, to the readers, on the events narrated in my works. Without forcing them, allowing the reader to draw their own conclusions.
All my works though fiction, relate real events and try to convey, through the characters, the hidden view of events, maybe fiction or maybe not.
I have participated in multiple literary events and as a jury in short story and novel contests for publishers.
I am a proofreader and spellcaster.
